These salary negotiation coaching services are highly personalized and designed by certified HR or Compensation professionals exclusively to help you negotiate anything from your first job offers to internal promotions and executive compensation packages.

Our Service

All of our salary negotiation coaching packages and services are one-on-one. It is a hands-on, and truly collaborative partnership between you and your JIT salary negotiation coach.

Unlike other salary negotiation coaching services elsewhere, when working with us at Just-in-time (JIT) Salary Negotiation you will only partner with a coach who is highly experienced in salary negotiation in your industry.

Our coaches are certified Professionals in Human Resources (PHR) and/or Certified Compensation Professionals (CCP).

Our Founder

JIT Salary Negotiation founder, Kate Stone earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling specializing in Human Resources Development and has two professional certifications; Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Certified Compensation Professionals (CCP). She has spent 15+ years in Human Resources with the majority of her career specializing exclusively in Compensation. Kate has extensive experience in both US Compensation and Global Compensation across industries.

Her latest leadership and international compensation role was with a company in the pharmaceutical industry where she relocated and lived in Germany.

Throughout her career, Kate was approached by families, friends, and colleagues for guidance when negotiating their salary and job offers and successfully helped them reach their ideal compensation goals. It was no doubt that her expertise could make a significant difference in their career lives. Kate founded Just-In-Time (JIT) Salary Negotiation with the mission to bring her knowledge, expertise, and her unique perspective from the other end of the table to help more professionals navigate the negotiation process and maximize their earning potential.

Being heavily involved in job offers and salary recommendations for all job types, career levels, and industries to recruiters, HRBPs, and hiring managers throughout her career, Kate and her team of salary negotiation experts can now guide you through the entire negotiation process so you can negotiate effectively and increase your chance to secure your ideal compensation

Some of Kate’s many related experiences with job offers and salary negotiations are:

  • Prepare compensation analysis (internal equity and market analysis) and gather compensation market trends. Present findings to HR Business Partner and line management. Support the design of compensation systems to maintain competitiveness in line with corporate pay philosophy and provide compensation recommendations e.g. for new hires, promotions
  • Manage the overall job analysis & job evaluation process for including level equity across all U.S. OPUs and business functions; ensure an aligned leveling process. Set guidelines to maintain an inventory of job profiles that is consistent across the U.S. OPUs.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to develop and compensation offers (all internal, and external hires as well as compensation packages for senior executive & international assignments) that support recruitment, promotion, and retention activities.
  • Equity valuation (RSUs, Performance Shares, Stock Options and other types of LTI) and provide base salary, STI, and LTI recommendations to support the hiring process of external candidates.
  • Manage salary surveys including managing submissions for participation in salary surveys. Manage job matching process and ensure accurate survey matches. Analyze salary survey results, present the analysis of overall pay competitiveness incl. compensation recommendations to HR Business Partners and line management.
